Medicine Labelling

Blind and partially sighted people often comment on the problems they have with pharmaceutical labelling and packaging.  A conference (www.informa-ls.com/pharmalabelling) on 27th & 28th October will address some of these needs.  I will be speaking about the requirements for braille labelling, but what should be done to help partially sighted users?

On 30th September 2009 I will be speaking at the RFID Europe 2009 Conference in Cambridge. [http://www.idtechex.com/rfideurope09/en/agenda.asp]. I will be talking about the need for adaptable user interfaces. I would be very interested to hear comments and feedback on the following question:

  • Are there other aspects of relevance to people with disabilities that I should be addressing?

Mobile phones for the senior market
